Launch of Highbury Heritage at the spire and heritage celebration on 4 July
The new community resource, Highbury Heritage, has some 100 items, including videos and narrated stories, illustrated with images old and new. The Visitor Centre at Christ Church is open on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings in term time, and on Sundays.

At the spire and heritage celebration on 4 July, Melanie Griffiths, Director of Cloudesley, spoke about the legacy of Tudor yeoman Richard Cloudesley and the 500th anniversary of his bequest to Islington which now benefits local churches and residents facing ill health and poverty. Peter Fisher, Archive Project Manager at London Metropolitan University, spoke about the musical and theatrical entertainment that took place in the spectacular hall in the university building in Holloway Road for over a century.
