Welcome to Highbury Heritage - our community past and present

The iconic spire of Christ Church, a visible example of Highbury Heritage at the top of Highbury Fields, has been saved with the help of a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The story of the 22-month Spire and Heritage project is told in the illustrated Evaluation Report submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund in October 2017.

Alongside the spire repairs, creation of Highbury Heritage enables the church to meet the community engagement criteria of our grant. Everyone is welcome to come and explore the eclectic mix of new videos, interviews and illustrated narrations.
